Preserving the environment is important to ensure a balance in our ecosystem. The lush greenery we enjoy today will soon disappear if we do not take care of it. The environment is our most valuable treasure and it should be enjoyed by all, including future generations. Whatever we do, whether good or otherwise, affects the environment.

Today, environmental issues are making headlines due to natural disasters caused by environmental degradation as well as by human actions. The public, too, has become increasingly aware of environmental issues.

The earth is our most precious gift to future generations. If it is not protected, generations to come may not be able to enjoy the healthy, clean and beautiful environment we have today.

This book covers a wide range of environmental issues while emphasizing the four elements of nature - air, water, fire, and earth. Protecting the environment is a huge responsibility and all of us can start by doing our part. I hope that this book will be an important guide for all on the importance of having a sustainable environment.
