Instructor Biography
Oktavia Nurtjahja is the author of The Return of Panggau Warriors – a series of fantasy novels that depicts the world of Borneo rainforest according to Iban mythology. She blogs about the stories behind the writing of her novels.
Oktavia holds a Master Degree in Arts (Applied Linguistics) from the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia. She was an English Lecturer for Curtin University of Technology (2001-2009). Prior to that, she was a Lecturer for the Faculty of English Literature, Bina Nusantara University, Jakarta, Indonesia (1999-2000), where she taught a course about ‘How to Write Fiction’.
