Engineering Survey Laboratory Manual and Reference Guideline is for civil engineering students and professionals who are involved in field surveying work for new development and constructions. The manual offers procedures in conducting horizontal control and vertical control surveys, detail survey, computation of areas and volumes of earthwork. The theory of setting out for buildings and road curves are essential for civil engineering students and professionals providing detail pre-computations for new development projects. The manual also highlights on the use of surveying equipment such as theodolite, prismatic compass, auto level, total station and planimeter. The authors anticipate that the manual will provide a guide to executing engineering survey fieldwork and properly planned surveying procedure in order to reduce errors and conduct precise surveying using sophisticated equipment now available in the market.
