Interactive Real Analysis
This book is aimed to assist students in studying real analysis. The text covers seven chapters, each of which consists of an introduction to the topic and a series of worked examples and exercises. This book is suitable for both undergraduate and for more advanced students who need a foundation in real analysis.
Instructor Biography
Zurina Kasim obtained her first degree B.A (1996) in Mathematical Sciences from State University, Potsdam, New York, United States of America. She received her master’s. (1998) in Mathematical Sciences, Binghamton, New York, United States of America. She is appointed as a mathematics lecturer at UiTM Perlis since 1990. Currently she is a senior lecturer in Faculty of Computer Sciences and Mathematics at UiTM Perlis, with 27 years experience in teaching and the subject taught are calculus, advanced calculus, real analysis and ordinary differential equations.
Mesliza Mohamed obtained her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia, and her Ph.D from The University of Queensland, Australia, all in mathematics. Having previously taught at Universiti Teknologi MARA (Perlis) since 1996, she came to Universiti Teknologi MARA (Pahang) in 2013, where she is currently a senior lecturer of Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences. She has been teaching various fields of mathematics at diploma and degree levels such as calculus, real analysis, further mathematics for engineers, mathematical modeling, inventory control, queing theory and discrete mathematics. Her major interests are nonlinear differential equations and nonlinear difference equations.
