Penerbit UPSI telah ditubuhkan pada 2001. Misi Penerbit UPSI ialah menghasilkan buku-buku berkualiti tinggi dan menarik bagi mencapai matlamat penerbitan bertaraf dunia. Seiring dengan perkembangan dan trend pembelajaran masa kini, menjadi hasrat Penerbit UPSI untuk menyebarluaskan ebook ke seluruh dunia. Ini adalah sejajar dengan aspirasi Penerbit UPSI meluaskan skop penerbitan selain daripada penerbitan buku fizikal.
