SUSTAINABLE WELL-BEING ACROSS THE LIFE COURSE: INTERDISCIPLINARY PERSPECTIVES
The pursuit of emotional, physical, mental, social, and cultural well-being is a shared human aspiration that transcends age, geography, and disciplinary boundaries. This edited volume, Sustainable Well-Being Across the Life Course: Interdisciplinary Perspectives, brings together a diverse array of scholarly contributions that explore how well-being is shaped, sustained, and, at times, challenged from early childhood to old age. The chapters in this volume reflect an integrative understanding of well-being, drawing from multiple disciplines including social work, psychology, public health, education, sociology, and cultural studies. Recognising that human experiences are deeply embedded in family, community, and socio-cultural environments, the contributors examine well-being through lenses that account for both individual agency and structural influence.
