Instructor Biography
Azyyati Anuar, a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Business Management, Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Kedah, Malaysia, holds a PhD in Operation Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM), along with a Master’s in Education (Business and Entrepreneurship) and a BA (Hons) in Human Resource Management. She specialises in lean management, sustainability, entrepreneurship, and innovation, evidenced by her extensive academic and professional contributions. With over 50 publications in reputed journals and conferences, her research spans bibliometric studies, lean practices, entrepreneurship, Small Medium Enterprises and sustainability frameworks. Zuraidah Mohamed Isa is a Senior Lecturer at the Department of Finance, Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Finance from UiTM and a Master’s in Business Management from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). In 2018, she earned her PhD in Finance and Banking from UUM, focusing on the impact of microcredit programmes on quality of life. Her research interests include microcredit, quality of life, entrepreneurship, zakat, waqf, and the social economy. Although relatively new to academic publishing, she has actively produced over 50 publications, including Scopus/WoS-indexed journals, conference papers, bulletins, and book chapters. She has also secured six research grants. Zuraidah contributes as a reviewer for indexed journals and has served as editor-in-chief for FBM Insights and the FBM Handbook. Norhidayah Ali is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Business and Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia, and holds a PhD in Consumer Analysis from Universiti Utara Malaysia (UUM). Her areas of specialization include customer loyalty and socioeconomic. She has contributed extensively to the field through her publications, focusing on loyalty, and socioeconomic. Her research has been featured in national and international journals. She serves as chief editor for FBM Insights and contributes as a reviewer for several academic journals. Dahlia Ibrahim is a Senior Lecturer in Finance at the Faculty of Business Management, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Kedah Branch. She obtained her PhD in 2017 from Universiti Sains Malaysia, with a specialisation in waqf. Her research interests include Islamic Philanthropy—particularly waqf and zakat—as well as microfinance programmes and personal financial planning. She has presented her work at both local and international platforms and has published in various academic journals. She has also received multiple awards, including gold, silver, and bronze medals in several innovation competitions over the years.
Suhaida Abu Bakar is a Lecturer at the Academy of Islamic Contemporary Studies (ACIS), Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah. She holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Quran and Sunnah from International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM) and a Master’s Islamic Studies from Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM). Ahmad Afif Ahmarofi is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Kedah Branch in Malaysia. Prior to this, he was a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Industry at Universiti Malaysia Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah (UMPSA) for two years. He holds a Bachelor of Manufacturing Engineering degree from International Islamic University Malaysia, a Master of Science degree in Decision Sciences, and PhD in Decision Sciences and Operations Research from Universiti Utara Malaysia. In addition to his academic qualifications, he also possesses eight years of industry experience as a production planner at a Japanese audio system manufacturer in Kedah, Malaysia. Dr. Ahmad Afif’s areas of expertise include computer simulation, artificial intelligence (AI), and optimisation methods. He has recently been involved in a project related to a cashless blueprint and digitalisation roadmap for the Kedah state government, Malaysia.
Nurbaizura Borhan is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Statistics and Decision Science, Faculty of Computer and Mathematical Sciences at Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM) Shah Alam, Selangor. She holds a PhD in Statistics and has a strong academic and research profile in the field of statistical modelling and econometrics. Her research focuses on time series analysis, forecasting, and econometrics modelling, with applications in tourism demand, economic, and socio-economic issues. She is an active member of the editorial board of the Malaysian Journal of Computing (MJoC), contributing to the peerreview process and academic publishing in the field of computing and mathematical sciences. She teaches courses in Elementary Statistics, Quantitative Economics Analysis and Time Series Analysis and Forecasting.
