Childhood Obesity: What You Need To Know

NOOR SHAFINA MOHD NOOR is an associate professor, currently serving as Deputy Dean of Postgraduate and Professional Training at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. She is a consultant paediatrician and a consultant paediatric endocrinologist at Hospital Al-Sultan Abdullah UiTM. She completed her paediatric endocrinology subspecialty training at the University Malaya Medical Center, Malaysia, and the Children's Hospital of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, in 2015. She is the current treasurer for the Malaysian Paediatric Endocrine & Diabetes Group (MPEDG). She is an avid researcher with numerous publications in journals, books, and chapters in books, as well as contributing to the national clinical guidelines.

AZRIYANTI ANUR ZAINI is an associate professor and currently the head of the Paediatric Endocrinologist Unit in the Department of Paediatrics, Faculty of Medicine, University Malaya. She is a Consultant Paediatrician, Consultant Paediatric Endocrinologist, senior academic lecturer, and a researcher at her university. She graduated with an MBBS, Masters of Paediatrics from her alma mater and completed her Paediatric Endocrine training at the Oxford University Hospital, UK, and the Malaysia Paediatric Endocrine Fellowship programme in 2015. Her main interests are diseases in paediatric endocrinology, especially childhood obesity and diabetes, among others.
