THIS book is useful in assisting both undergraduate and postgraduate students in bridging the knowledge gap between business concepts and real-life business practices. Each case study is uniquely designed, where it focuses on one core business theory or concept. Furthermore, the case studies are short and straightforward to allow students to grasp the problem or issues fast. Instructors are advised to allow students to attempt each case study once the core business concept is taught to them. Instructors are able to get the information pertaining to the core concepts from the teaching note. The teaching note provides a detail guidelines on how to execute the cases and suggested solutions.
J.S. KESHMINDER is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Economics and Financial Studies, Faculty of Business and Management at the Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Economics from University Putra Malaysia and a master’s degree in Economics from International Islamic University Malaysia. He also holds a PhD in Economics from University Malaya Malaysia. He lectures on a wide array of subjects stemming from Economics, Research Methods, and Business Analytics. Case studies are an integral part of his teaching style to promote active learning in class. He actively conducts workshops on case study writing to nurture more case study writers and to encourage lecturers to use case studies as part of their teaching tool.
NORSHIMA HUMAIDI is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Technology and Supply Chain Management Studies, Faculty of Business and Management at the Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from Edith Cowan University, Australia and a Master of Science in Information Technology from Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia. She also holds a PhD in Health Information System (Computer Science) from University Malaya Malaysia. She lectures on a wide array of subjects stemming from Technology Management, E-Commerce, and Business Analytics. Case studies are an integral part of her teaching style to promote active learning in class especially subject related to Technology Management. She is also actively involved in information system development projects.
