A Guide to Writing Research Proposals: The Experimental Method
The simple language used in this book would allow ESL students better understand the basics of research. Though this book is only a guide to writing research proposals using the experimental method, it can be used as a reference to writing a research report after the actual research has been undertaken.
Instructor Biography
Wan Chik Ibrahim finished schooling at the Malay College in 1961 and entered the Malaysian Teachers' College in 1966. He went to the United States for his Bachelor's and Master's degree and graduated in English and Education in Great Britain that took him to the University of London, Cambridge, Edinburgh and York. In 1984, he was at the East West Center, Hawaii for the Teaching of Cross Culture at Hull, England for the Teacher Trainers' Refresher Course and at Brighton for the Vidoe-Computers in TESL. He obtained his PhD from Michigan State in Adult Continuing and Lifelong Education with specialization in TESL. Possess vast working experience in teaching English at UKM and UPSI. Well versed in research, he has published several research papers and books on the subject.
