Manufacturing Processes Lab: Laboratory Manual covers processes such as Metrology, CAD/CAM, Advance Welding and 2D CNC machining, and Plastics Processing. Each laboratory consists of experiments using several advanced manufacturing processes with the utilisation of various modern tools or equipment. This lab manual provides a structured guideline for lab instructors with teaching notes and students with learning theories. The presentation of the experiments is structured with an introduction to the processes, objectives, and experimental information supported with suitable theories and figures. Safety and health regulations, as well as general standard operating procedures, have been included. It is designed to effectively facilitate students performing the laboratory session in collaborative learning, fulfil the requirements of the Engineering Accreditation Council (EAC), and make instruction reflect student-centered learning. In this way, the students will learn approaches to conducting the laboratory session, plan for the expected outcomes, follow the overall laboratory, safety, and health procedures, and appropriately present their findings.
