Introduction to Linear System Second Edition
The second edition of Introduction to Linear System provides comprehensive coverage of basic and fundamental of linear signals and systems included mathematical concepts apply to solve engineering problems. The emphases are covered on continuous-time signals and systems, Fourier series, differential equations and Laplace transform. The differential equations and Laplace Transform will be used in solving simple circuit problems.
This edition is well supported by numerous practice problems and included clear illustrations throughout the book to achieve the course outcome so that student will be able to classify signals and systems as well as perform signal manipulations, able to express periodic signal into Fourier Series representation and lastly able to obtain system responses using differential equations and Laplace Transform with application to electrical circuit.
Instructor Biography
Ir. Dr. Iza Sazanita is currently a senior lecturer at College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA since 2009. She received her master's degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2011 and graduated her doctoral degree from Universiti Teknologi MARA in 2018. She is actively involved in research and teaching at the faculty. She also published several references books for undergraduate.
Anis Diyana Rosli received her first honour degree from UiTM Shah Alam in 2007 and Msc from University of New South Wales in 2009. She is now a senior lecturer in Universiti Teknologi MARA and have served for 11 years since 2010.
Assoc. Prof Ir. Ts. Dr. Siti Noraini Sulaiman is currently an Associate Professor at College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She attached at this institution since 2002. She received her bachelor, master and doctoral degree from Universiti Sains Malaysia in 2000, 2003 and 2012 respectively. She is actively involved in teaching and research activities at the faculty.
Dr. Belinda Chong Chiew Meng is currently a Senior Lecturer at College of Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She obtained her B. Sc (Hons) and M. Eng. in Electrical in 1997 and 2022.
