Mother Earth and environment are becoming polluted day by day. For an all-round development, The creation of societal awareness with regard to environmental protection and subsequent nurturing has become very pertinent. On this pretext, this book is an attempt at explaining environmental issues and its management, focussing on the environmental law and human health care. The contents have been arranged in a systematic and student-friendly manner. This book contains dependable information about all concepts along with illustrations and suitable figures. Instructor Biography
UPENDRA NATHDASH, PhD (I,I,T, Kharagpur), D.Sc (Utkal University) is a retired professor of chemistry and a former head of the Dept of Chemistry and Director of the Dept of Pharmaceutical Sciences, Utkal University. He has more than 190 research papers published in national and international journals of repute. He has been affiliated with Universiti Teknologi MARA Malaysia as a visiting professor.
SUSHREE TRIPATHY, PhD Sambalpur University, has been an honorary post-doctoral fellow at the Falculty of Pharmacy with her mentor, Prof Dr Abu Bakar Abdul Majeed of Universiti Teknologi MARA, Malaysia. She is very deeply involved and passionate in academic writing. She has co-authored a book called The Text Book of Pharmaceutical Inorganic Chemistry.
ABU BAKAR ABDUL MAJEED, a registered pharmacist with Malaysia's Board of Pharmacy, has a degree from el-Zagazig University, Egypt (1983), PhD in Neurophysiology from Sheffield University, United Kingdom (1988), and a Master's in Business Administration (MBA) from Universiti Sains Malaysia, Penang (1996). He is the Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM). He wrote The Environment - a Gift of God published by the Institute of Islamic Understanding Malaysia (IKIM), Kuala Lumpur (1998) and edited Smart Management of the Environment (IKIM, 2000). Abu Bakar was the Chairman of the National Bioethics Council, Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (2016-2018).
