Problem Solving In Hydraulics
This Problem Solving in Hydraulics provides work examples and various questions to strengthen students' fundamentals and understanding of this subject. To help the student, short notes for each topic are provided together with the work examples.
This book covers the application of energy equations on incompressible pipe flow and the analysis of pipe networks to establish the design principles of water supply engineering. It also covers the design of an open channel based on uniform flow conditions, the application of specific energy concepts, momentum equations for the analysis of non-uniform systems, the analysis of pump operation and performance, and pump design.
