Key Feature Questions in Family Medicine: A Compilation of Practice Papers is published to provide KFQ practice papers in the areas of Family Medicine for medical undergraduate and postgraduate students. This book can be used as a guide for students to enhance their clinical decision-making skills and exam preparation in common cases seen in family medicine. This book contains six sets of practice papers with a total of 36 KFQ altogether. Answers, explanations and reasoning are provided following the practice papers based on updated evidence-based medicine. The authors of this book have vast clinical and academic experience in the area of Family Medicine. They are extensively involved in developing, vetting and conducting examinations at the national level for both undergraduate and postgraduate students.
Instructor Biography
Dr. Siti Fatimah Badlishah Sham is a Consultant Family Medicine Specialist and Associate Professor at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She is also the Head of Primary Care Department. She is a passionate teacher and mentor to many undergraduate and postgraduate students with 15 years of clinical experience. She has published numerous highly impactful articles in national and international journals.
Dr. Nik Munirah Nik Nasir is a Senior Lecturer and Family Medicine Specialist at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She is actively involved with both undergraduate and postgraduate examinations at the university and national levels. Her areas of interest include Weight Management, Adolescent Health and Preventive Health. She is also involved in community work services and projects.
Dr. Nur Amirah Shibraumalisi is a Senior Lecturer and Family Medicine Specialist at the Faculty of Medicine, Universiti Teknologi MARA. She has been involved in conducting and organising undergraduate and postgraduate examinations at the university and national levels. She has a special interest in Geriatric Medicine and is planning to further her studies in this field.
