In other words, how the individual or group oversees the capital usage within the allocation options available. It is synonymous with investment management and portfolio management.

The author is a qualified Management Accountant and Company Secretary. He is an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK and a member of the Malaysian Institute of Accountants. He was a Senior Corporate Lender with two large foreign International Banks and had held the role of a Private Consultant to a Group CEO and as General Manager, Finance of a Main Board Listed Company. He is currently a Businessman and Director of a Marketing company.
