The manual booklet provides an overview of plant pathology as well as a lab handbook with current standard practices for teaching lab students. This manual book will cover an important issue in plant pathology: detection and diagnostics. The manual is divided into eight chapters, beginning with a fundamental preface that covers everything from plant diseases to their causes, nature, types, biotic factors, and diagnosis procedures. Apart from the regulations and precautions to be taken in the lab, it provides a fundamental concept and picture in the minds of students regarding lab equipment, microscopy, microbe staining, cultivation, collection and preservation, identification and diagnosis, and biocontrol approach. The manual also includes a glossary of technical words that are commonly used in the field. New detection and diagnostic technologies have applications in various agricultural areas. From fundamental features to practical elements, the various chapters will present a fairly full picture of the topic.
