This book presents the fundamental research design and implementation related to machine learning techniques. Chapter One briefly describes the general concepts of machine learning related fields and applications, followed by the machine learning implementation methodology in Chapter Two. To demonstrate the methodology, Chapter Three and Chapter Four present the related research and findings of machine learning predictive models for classification and regression problems. The machine learning classification model was tested on real dataset of companies in Malaysia related to tax avoidance. The machine learning regression model was tested on real dataset of housing prices in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia. In Chapter Five, there is also information on current automated machine learning techniques and a summary of prior research. Chapter Six contains the conclusion remarks. This book can be used as guidelines for researchers who plan to embark on predictive modelling (regression or classification), students who are learning data sciences, and lecturers in computing and other fields.
