This book, Moment Distribution Method for Beams and Frames: Problems & Solutions, is designed to guide students in understanding and applying the moment distribution method on solving plane structures that deal with determinate and indeterminate beams, non-sway frames, and frames with side sway-subjected to different load cases, support conditions, and movements. Important concepts and procedures are presented and illustrated through the solutions to the problems.

Instructor Biography

Oh Chai Lian holds a PhD in Civil Engineering from Universiti Sains Malaysia, a Master of Engineering (Civil & Structure), and a Bachelor of Civil Engineering from Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. She is a Senior Lecturer in the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi MARA Shah Alam.
